Several customers have been asking us how to interpret the WIN (watercraft identification number) on their boats, or used boats if they are considering buying, to check age or indeed that they are actually looking at a Seahopper!
These numbers only apply to the KONDOR which fits within the Recreational Craft Directive. Here is a recent example: GBKON7512C1716
GB is obvious; KON is our MIC (manufacturer’s identification code); 7512 is the unique identification code; C17 means the boat was built in March 2017 and the final number refers to the model year. Hope that helps!
